Hello, my name is Brianne! I would like to share with you my vision of healing and inspiration! The best way I can do that is by telling you a little bit about my story! I was raised by my parents who I admire dearly. My father is my true HERO. He is a retired MARINE, from the Veitnam War. I have learned so much from him! I wish I would have listened to all his great words of wisdom as I went into my teenage years, but I had to travel down my own path which led me down the broken road of trauma, addiction, and now suffering from PTSD. I lost everything and almost everyone that was important to me when I landed in prison. However, my broken path has become my building blocks, and stepping stones to a beautiful future. I found therapy in training Service Dogs! Not only was I able to experience a newness of being loved and accepted, by the dogs I have trained. But I have found that I can use the past hurts, memories and struggles to relate to others who suffer from PTSD like I do. Training dogs has become my life. There is such a reward when I see the results of these dogs becoming acts of service. I want to help you see the abilities of these precious gifts from above! Every day I can smile, just knowing my dog is by my side and is going to be of service to the recipient they are assigned to when they leave training. My father has been my inspiration to give back to the community, what I know works! Service Dogs Alabama has taught me so much, and I have decided that I will dedicate the rest of my life serving those who have been broken, and need a new way of feeling love, joy, peace, acceptance and comfort! Your new best friend may be a furry friend but I can assure you, that will be the most loyal friend you will ever have!!!
